Summer greetings

Dear Friends,
I haven’t written you for a long time. I hope you are fine.
In May and June, I had many concerts in Tokyo, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and
Nishinomiya. In Sapporo I also had a recording for a DVD at my live
concert. This DVD will be sold at my concerts only in Hokkaido. I feel it
’s pity because it won’t be available elsewhere. But I am happy to say
that I will perform Prokofiev Concerto #2 in Yamagata on July 20th and
21st.
Soon, the rainy season will be over, and I hope you will enjoy your summer
holidays.

My dear friends,

How are you? I hope you enjoyed your New Year’s holidays.

On January 3, I performed in Nagoya for NHK TV New Year Concert, which was
broadcast on January 20. In January I also played Sibelius Violin Concerto
with Japan Philharmonic Orchestra at Suntory Hall in Tokyo and Minato Mirai
Hall in Yokohama.

I would like to see you at a concert tour with Japan Philharmonic Orchestra
in February. Here is the schedule:
Feb. 10 at Yamaguchi Shimin Kaikan Dai Hall;
Feb. 11 at Omuta Bunka Kaikan;
Feb.15 at Takarayama Hall in Kagoshima:
Feb. 17 at Hyogoken Kokan (Recital);
Feb. 18 at Kita Kyushu Kosei Nenkin Kaikan.

I would be very happy if you would come to my concerts. Hope to see you

Hello my friends:

How are you enjoying the beautiful autumn weather? It’s like the summer
weather in Moscow.
Now I am preparing for my concerts in November with Czech-Prague Orchestra
and for my new Christmas recital program next month. I have chosen my
favorite pieces by Mozart and Shostakovich for their anniversaries. I will
also play Mendelssohn
’s “Scherzo” from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” It is
usually played by orchestras, but not by violinists. So in that respect, it
is something new and fresh.
My most favorite pieces are “La Campanella” by Paganini and “Nocturne
and Tarantella
” by Szymanovsky.

I hope you will come to my concerts as you are always appreciative of my
performances, and I always enjoy playing for you.

Dear My Friends,
How are you doing? It's been a long time since I wrote my message last time, but I hope you have enjoyed your summer! I have, as I spent most of my summer vacation in Moscow where the climate is much cooler than Japan and elsewhere.
In the fall season, I have my concert activities starting in Hiroshima in September. Then on November 15th, I perform in Aichi Pref. and on the 18th in Yokohama. On November 26th, I will perform in Toyama Pref. At these three concerts in November, I will play with Czech-Prague Orchestra. 大阪ザ・シンフォニーホールでリサイタル！

アナスタシアは、ドミトリー・チェチェーリンというピアニストとともに久しぶりにシンフォニーホールに登場。カルメン幻想曲、ツィゴイネルワイゼンといった十八番のプログラムを披露しました。今回は、この公演のためにモスクワから一時帰国。「日本は暑いでしょう？」と尋ねたところ「今年のモスクワは30度！しかも・・・冷房は整っていないの」とのこと。夏は涼しいモスクワも、昨今の温暖化の影響でしょうか。（写真提供：ザ･シンフォニーホール）

Dear Friends,
How are you surviving the rainy season? I am doing fine. I have just finished two successful concerts in Hyogo and Tokyo.
Tomorrow I will leave Tokyo for Moscow , and come back here in two weeks.
On July 16th, I will have a recital at Osaka Symphony Hall, and I hope I will see many of you there.

My dear friends!
This spring I came back to Japan from Moscow two weeks earlier than usual
.It was unusually cold in Moscow this winter, but here it
’s spring time and sakura blossoms are so nice and beautiful. Back in
Moscow I found a new apartment. It is much larger than my previous place,
and on the 39th floor with good panoramic views.
This summer season, I have a few concerts. On June 24th, I will perform
Spanish Symphony by Lalo at Hyogo Prefectural Hall. On July 1st, I have a
recital at Yamaha Ginza in Tokyo. And on July 14th, I have another recital
at Osaka Symphony Hall. I would like to see all of you at my concerts.

MY DEAR FRIENDS,
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! I HOPE YOU ARE FINE IN THIS COLD WINTER IN JAPAN. IN MOSCOW THEY HAD DAYS WITH -30゜! SO IT IS NOT COLD HERE COMPARED WITH MOSCOW.
BY THE WAY I WILL RETURN TO MOSCOW SOON FOR MY SPRING VACATION AND CONCERTS IN MOSCOW AND ABROAD.
IN APRIL I WILL COME BACK TO JAPAN FOR ANOTHER SEASON AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT MY CONCERTS.

流麗なプロコフィエフ

プロコフィエフの1番コンチェルトを、井上道義氏の指揮で京都市交響楽団と共演。今回は大変興味深いプログラムで、1曲目のシュニトケ「モーツ＝アルト・ア・ラ・ハイドン」をモニタで見ていたアナスタシアはいきなり真っ暗になったテレビモニタに？？。実は、思い思いの服装のプレーヤーが暗転の舞台から演奏を始めるという、ユニークな演出でした。2曲目に登場のアナスタシアは、マエストロ井上＆オーケストラと流麗、変幻自在な演奏を繰り広げ、拍手喝さいを浴びていました。「So nice music!」と感動しながら楽屋に引き上げていきました。

1月3日　ニューイヤーコンサート！

新年明けて元旦のその日に、モスクワから日本へ到着。最初のコンサートは、東京文化会館響の森シリーズで、「チャイコフスキー」を演奏。指揮者の飯森氏とは、N響定期で共演して以来、チャイコフスキーも2度目とあって、息の合った演奏を繰り広げました。新年早々にもかかわらず、会場はほぼ満席状態。「大切な日にコンサートにいらしてくださってありがとう！」（by Anastasia）

藤沢リラホール開館15周年！

日本にソロデビューした年に、ここ藤沢リラホールで演奏して以来、開館15周年を迎えて再び同ホールに登場。会場は満席、サイン会では多くの方と交流ができました。

Dear My Friends,

Sorry I have not written for a long time because I have been very busy with
concerts and concert tours overseas. Last month I performed five concerts
at "Europalia" Festival in Belgium. I played with Ural Symphony Orchestra
and Flemish Radio Orchestra. All the concerts were very successful and I
had standing ovations.

In early December I will release my new CD, Zigeunerweisen Romantic
Virtuoso with Russian Symphony Orchestra.

On December 3rd I will perform a Russian program recital at Hyogo
Prefectural Art Culture Center. On December 14th I have a Christmas recital
at Tokyo Opera City Hall. For more information about these and other
concerts in December, please check To-On and Fan Club websites.

MY DEAR FANS,
LAST MONTH I WAS IN TURKEY FOR 12 DAYS TO PLAY 13 RECITALS.. IT WAS A VERY
HECTIC SCHEDULE PERFORMING AND TRAVELLING EVERYDAY FROM ONE CITY TO
ANOTHER, BUT I ENJOYED THEM VERY MUCH.
I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU ABOUT MY NEW RUSSIAN MUSIC CD, “VALSE DE FLEUR” B
EING RELEASED ON JUNE 22. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES A SONATA BY PROKOFIEV, AND PI
ECES BY TCHAIKOVSKY (TRANSCRIPTIONS FROM HIS BALLET MUSIC), RIMSKY-KORSAKOV,
AND STRAVINSKY. IN MY CD, I HAVE TRIED TO EXPRESS MY RUSSIAN HEART THROUGH
THE MUSIC.
ON JULY 9TH I WILL PERFORM AT A CONCERT IN MIBU, TOCHIGI WITH PRAGUE
PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

日露修好１５０周年記念コンサートに出演！

今年は、１８５５年に日露通好条約を調印したときから１５０年目を迎えます。当時のロシア海軍プチャーチン提督と江戸幕府・勘定奉行であった川路聖謨の交渉からスタートしました。今回はその歴史の地、伊豆半島の下田市にゆかりの子孫が集い、また小泉内閣総理大臣や町村外相、ロシュコフ・ロシア大使を迎えて記念式典が開催されました。アナスタシアも音楽家の立場からの文化交流として、記念コンサートに出演、チャイコフスキー、ラフマニノフ、ストラヴィンスキーといった作品を演奏しました。

ON FEBRUARY 27TH.I HAD A CONCERT WITH NHK SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AT METROPOLITAN ART SPACE HALL IN IKEBUKURO. I PERFORMED MOZART CONCERTO NO.5. IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL CONCERT WITH A FULL HOUSE.
>THE OTHER NIGHT I HAD A DINNER PARTY WITH A GROUP OF MY FANS IN THE TOKYO AREA. WE HAD FUN!
>IN LATE MARCH I WILL HAVE CD RECORDINGS IN MOSCOW. THE CD WILL INCLUDE PROKOFIEV SONATA NO.2, BALLET MUSIC, AND OTHER RUSSIAN PIECES. IT WILL BE RELEASED SOMETIME IN LATE SPRING.
